what do i need to hook up a car subwoofer inside my house?

i have two tens,in a box, an amp, a sony home stereo, i bought a setup kit for the subs but the kit was meant to hook up in a car. it came with a really large wire with a fuse in the middle of it. i know i need an AC/DC converter, but i dont know how many amps the converter needs to be. i think its amps anyways. and how do i use the converter for what i need?

This computer power supply has a 30amp 12volt rail. That’s good for approx. 300 watts. If the fuse on your amp is 30amps or less, this could work for you. Not bad for $45 shipped.
