Why is a “white” LED brighter than a “color” LED?
Why is a “white” light-emitting diode brighter than a “color” light-emitting diode such as green, red, or yellow?
I think you are talking about a clear led… pigments used in the coloring process absorb and obscure the true light. Its like shining a flashlight through a clear plastic bag as opposed to a black or a green bag the color pigments block some of the light, but give you different colors.
