Speaker Woofers
Can You bridge two speakers and two woofers to a 2-channel amp?
I have two 2 6×9 w/ a total of 400 watts RMS and two 12″ woofer w/ a total of 760 watts RMS . I would like to bridge all of these to one 1600 watts RMS amp is it possible or would i need to buy another amp?
Bridging an 2 channel amp usually only gets you 1 channel. When you bridge an amp you combine two channels into one, bridging a 4 channel amp combines the 4 channels into 2. You can either wire the subs in stereo mode with the amp and get another amp for the speakers, or bridge the amp for 1 sub and get another amp for the sub and wire it bridged and then get another amp for the speakers.
