How to put down rear headrests in 2000 S500 W220?
My rear headrests i think were once supposed to automatically go up and down? but i bought it used about 5 years ago, and for 5 years ive never seen this happen…. also if u put the headrests up, it locks, and they dont go back down.
there is a button on my dash…. it looks like a head rest? lol… i dont know how to describe it sorry. but when i press it, it sounds like….. cant really describe it but it sounds like air being release out of a pressurized container of some sort… like pshhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh. 
can anyone please help me put my head rests down? and tell me if they were automatic before i bought it? and how to get the auto back… or no.
i just want to know how to put it down is all… but more answers the better.

The two people on top of me are wrong. “there is a button on my dash…. it looks like a head rest” this is the button you are talking about. he says when he presses it all he hears is “air being release out of a pressurized container” the head rests dont go down.
are they stuck? i dont know. i would assume so. your best bet is to take it to a dealer, or unless someone can answer it here
