why does my car’s instrument panel light
go off ?
here is honda accord 2000, V6, 4D, I am finding it difficult to drive in night because I do not see instrumentation panel back light , so can not see speed, gas level and any other indication except gear number..
What could be reason and how to correct this…issue ?
that light comes on some times but 90% it is not working..then it can not be fuse !
First, go ahead and change the fuse, it may not be completely blown and shorting across the gap. If that’s not it, then you’ll heed to pull the instrument panel out and check the circuit board on the back and change any of the lights that are blown. I believe the circuit board is a plastic sheet with copper “trails” with in it, if one of them cracks or breaks it will periodically work.
