When i plug my Garmin etrex into the 12v adapter is it also charging the batteries in the back?
The batteries in the back are re-chargable. It says nothing in the instructions.
I have an eTrex legend and it does not charge the batteries, rechargeable or not. It just uses the 12V for power instead of the battery.
