Rear View
How do you attach a rear view mirror?
The rear view mirror has fallen off my Daewoo Leganza. It looks like it was attached with glue. Do I just need to go to the hardware and buy glue, if so what sort do I get? Thanks
There is a specific type of glue used for rearview mirrors. It’s about 5-7bucks at any autoparts store or Wal-Mart. Do yourself a favor and use a razor on the original place to remove the old glue and clean it with rubbing alcohol before applying the fresh glue. Also, use a piece of tape to attach the metal piece to the windshield for proper curing of the glue. Let it dry for the appropriate amount of time following all of the intructions. Some glues will cure faster than others. Some in minutes and some overnight.
