What is coming out of my car’ vents, is it harmful to inhale?
My heater core has recently gone out resulting in a weird steam coming out of my vents. This fogs up my windows and I can’t use the heater. I am in the process of saving up money for a new car because I don’t want to spend 12,000 to fix the heater of my POS. All I want to know is that it’s not going to kill me to inhale this fog while I’m driving!!!!
you can do 2 things, put a pipe connecting the 2 heater hoses going inside the vehicle to by pass the heater core or use 2 vise grip pliers and close both hoses to the heater core, you should not be driving if the heater core leaks, soon will need a new engine, check your coolant level at all times, best when cold. good luck
