Watt Woofer

Will my car-sub woofer powerup with a 1,000 watt Ampilifer/Receiver?

Okay, lemme get this straight before adding products.

I have a HD Audio card, has all 7.1 surround sound plugs. what i want to do is, i have already 5 sub woofers, and 2 treble speakers. And i wanna add a 600 watt car sub woofer. My concern is powering it up.

Here is my plan: I purchased a 1,000 watt receiver/AMP

and the sub woofer: http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&item=320463238255&rvr_id=&crlp=1_263602_263622&UA=WXF%3F&GUID=bd47079d1250a06c21366e36ffe052e1&itemid=320463238255&ff4=263602_263622

Okay, so what i wanna do is. Can i run the RCA plugs > to headphone jack into my computer.
Than, run the negative wire to the sub woofer negative, and the positive to positive on the sub woofer.

Will it power up or no.

You can’t run the amp into your computer it will fry it..you can run a signal out through the head phone jack to the amp and then to the subs but all you will get is subs your other speakers will not work…all you can get though your head phone jack is a stereo signal out.
